If the U.S. believes in "freedom of religion" why do CONS attack Non-Christians?

If the US was indeed a religious country we wouldn't have law suits to keep The 10 Commandments out of courthouses or Nativity scenes from public places and school prayer would be allowed. We wouldn't be killing babies and calling it a women's reproductive health issue either. I don't know where you are from, but the conservative people I hear from welcome people from all religious beliefs.
