What is Randy Jones, the Original Cowboy of Village People, doing now, since he left the group in 1991?
Randy Jones was the Original Cowboy from Village People 1977-1981. With the group, he recorded all the hits, "Y.M.C.A", "Macho Man", "Go West", "In the Navy", "Can't Stop the Music", etc. He created the name "SIXUVUS, Ltd." and was responsible for re-uniting the group with all the original members, except Victor Willis(replaced by Ray Simpson). Randy Jones' second stint with VP was 1986-1991. Please find more information about his film, music, and theatre career 1991-2008. I believe he has recorded solo lps/cds and starred in film, television, and theatre productions.
